Welcome to my photo page where I've included pictures, comments and reviews from readers, events and other memorabilia.
August 2024. A great day at the Saco River Brewing Company in Fryeburg!
Check this photo out! My childhood friend that I hadn't seen in over 40 years, Kurt McKenney, stopped by to say hi! How cool is that?!
A great August day at H&H Merchantile in Searsport with several other authors and our host, Patrick!
July 25, 2024 - Chatting with Brian Sullivan of WABI-5 about my book, Peanut Butter Memoirs.
We had a great time at the signing event at Marble Creek Acres Winery in June of '24!!
For anyone whose familiar and read my dark-humored thriller, 'There's No More Room in Hell', you know that the African Queen is a 'character' in the book. Well, here they both are, the book and the Queen, together in 2024! Yes, that's the actual restored, steam-operated, African Queen that John Huston purchased for his film, and that Humphrey Bogart and Kathryn Hepburn rode during the filming of the classic movie! It's currently docked in Key Largo and yes, I have ridden on it, which was a blast! It was a thrill to get a pic with my book next to the actual boat!
Spending a Day at the Splendiferous Sweet Shoppe in Searsport - October '23
Reader Reviews - October, 2023
A reader sent me this photo on August 22nd. Apparently my book was better than the in-flight movie on their way to Germany!
From the Thompson Free Library in Dover-Foxcroft
Another fun day at Sherman's Maine Coast Books on May 20, 2023. Lots of local readers as well as some from Alaska and Louisiana! Staff was awesome as usual!
On April 27, 2023, I visited the Thompson Free Library in Dover-Foxcroft to talk about the books. Over 40 between live participation and a live stream attended!
Below are the individuals whom my books are dedicated to. Peanut Butter Memoirs is dedicated to Damien Pickel (upper left), and my wife, Jackie (upper right). Two Seasons is dedicated to Mary Jean Igoe (lower right). Both are dedicated to my father, Harold Wilson (center), and both books mention my good friend, James 'Butch' Igoe (lower left).
A great time and good conversation was had at the Author's Event at the Mt. Vernon Community Center in October. The turnout was great (sorry we didn't get everyone in the photo). The event was sponsored by the Dr. Shaw Memorial Library.
This was a book signing event at the Guilford, Maine Bed and Breakfast in August of '22.

Included in the photo on the right is Jay Bailey, author of the Mudflap series of books.
Here's a Facebook post from the wonderful lady that Two Seasons is dedicated to. You can't get any better review than this!
And speaking of the book dedication, here's the lady that Two Seasons is dedicated to! I had a chance to visit Bangor, Maine on August 17th and I stopped by to see my good friend, James and also visited with his mom, Mary Jean Igoe.
It's great when readers take the time to let you know they're enjoying your books. Plus, to know that the book will be a permanent part of their library!

Thanks!
Two Seasons takes flight and makes for great reading material! Thanks for sending this to me, Brian!
Below is another great review of both books from a former co-worker in law enforcement and good friend, Charles Edgerly (pictured far left) who was one of the first to read my first two books!
An October 2022 review of my book, Peanut Butter Memoirs. This is an excellent and honest review from the Kennebec Journal.
